About two weeks ago, I've written a small ruby script to manage the configuration of my external monitors.
My Lenovo S430 laptop has a Thunderbolt port and a mini-HDMI port, on which I can connect in total two extern screens.
However, the mini-HDMI port connection is a bit brittle, and often requires some fiddling to get right.
Since I have a dual screen, portrait-oriented setup in the study and a single portrait-oriented screen in a corner of my living room and several monitors that I could use at Container Solutions HQ.
